Which Relay link do you want to ride?<\/strong>
\nSanta Barbara to San Luis Obispo<\/p>\n

How you found us<\/strong>
\nI received an e-mail message saying you needed a rider for this relay link and it sounded like something fun to do.<\/p>\n

Why you want to do this ride<\/strong>
\nI was going to ride to Santa Barbara from San Luis Obispo in the next couple of weeks anyway<\/p>\n

Tell us about your touring experience- if little or none, indicate many miles have you ridden over the last year:<\/strong>
\nI ride locally three times a week and do three or four centuries per year. (150 miles per week locally; I did a century ride on July 16)<\/p>\n

Tell us about your bike<\/strong>
\nRoad bicycle – either a Trek or Scott.<\/p>\n

Describe your training regimen<\/strong>
\nOne hundred and fifty miles per week and three or centuries a year.<\/p>\n

How are you making time for this<\/strong>
\nRetired.<\/p>\n

What are your fears about doing this ride<\/strong>
\nRiding north from Santa Barbara to San Luis Obispo is mostly into the wind. I’m a tailwind rider. .<\/p>\n

Do you have any special skills that you feel would benefit the Mayors’ Ride?<\/strong>
\nI enjoy riding. Hopefully, if there are enough bicyclists on the roads, one day we be accepted as equals by motorists.<\/p>\n
