A casual 15-mile ride, we are hoping for a reception from CA\u00a0Governor Jerry Brown<\/strong>‘s Office.\u00a0at the State Capitol.<\/p>\n

Ride starts from\u00a0Ken’s Bike-Ski-Board\u00a0<\/strong>at 8:15. Before we move on to\u00a0Blisworks Bikes<\/strong> for an 8:30 rider pick up. They are located in the\u00a0Nugget Markets\u00a0shopping center at Pole Line and Cowell. The people there are very knowledgeable and also very warm hearted. It just feels good to be in Blisworks, as like Ken’s, any customer who comes in the door is their top priority.<\/p>\n

At Grocery Outlet, at 8:45, they will have energy food and drink to get us over the Yolo Causeway and over the Tower Bridge to the Capitol a few blocks later!!<\/p>\n

btw: In 1884<\/strong>, when Thomas Stevens<\/strong> became the first man to bike across America and then around the world, he used the rail road tracks that are about a half a mile away from where we will be as we cross the Yolo Causeway. To honor him, I’ll be on\u00a0The Eagle Bicycle<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
