R<\/span><\/strong>ight on the\u00a0Indianapolis Cultural Trail, on Alabama St (at Ohio St.), this powerful looking building with\u00a0 no name on it,\u00a0 was the old Indianapolis City Hall! It was completed in 1910 and vacated by city govt in 1961. It’s been vacant for a number of years after serving as the state museum from 1967 – 2001, then the interim Central Library from 2002-2008.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Indianapolis Traction Terminal, several blocks away at Market & Illinois, 1904-1941 (now a Hilton). It was the largest interurban station IN THE WORLD!! The two eagles can be seen in the boxed off sections. <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div> <\/div>\n
