These are firms that\u00a0 design outdoor environments, especially harmonizing parks or gardens<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>with buildings and roads (examples of their work pictured at left). They are made up of extremely talented individuals, people who have rebuilt decaying parts of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>cities, rejuvenated<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>parks, transformed waterfronts and whole business districts, etc, all over America. It is their work for example, that reinvented Indianapolis. A<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>dying rust belt city, led by the work of\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sasaki.com\/\">Sasaki Design<\/a><\/strong>, as directed by Mr Greenway himself,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/bikeroute.com\/NationalBicycleGreenwayNews\/2011\/08\/15\/ray-irvin-mr-greenway-speaks-with-nbg\">Ray Irvin<\/a><\/strong>, the Indy 500 city is now known as the\u00a0<strong>Greenway Capital of the World<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">The giant in the field of landscape architecture is\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/altago.com\/\"><span class=\"s1\">Alta Planning<\/span><\/a><\/strong>. They have developed research that has led to policy and design standard changes nationally. They also manage the only national data collection center for bike counts and surveys.
