Concurrently, we will only need to develop 5, two-block marker sections. This is so because we only need to get to Pittsburgh. It is from there to the Nations Capital, for 336 miles, the going along the Great Allegheny Passage and the C&amp;O Canal path is Car Free.<\/div>\n<p style=\"padding: 7px;\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"o9v6fnle cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Going the other way, from Indianapolis to San Francisco, we will need to get 2,692 marker poles in the ground and develop 35 two-block sections. Unlike the Eastern end of the NBG, without the benefit of the 336-mile GAP trail and C&amp;O path, the Western end needs a lot more of our attention.
