Note<\/b>: With just a small bit of web research, i found out that\u00a0<\/span>Shuttle Bike<\/a><\/span>, the Italian company that made the bike accessory Judah Schjller, below, \u00a0used to pedal across the Bay has been trying to promote its invention here in Europe \u00a0since 1992.<\/p>\n

What it took to get this ‘new way of biking'” really \u00a0known about in the USA was a good marketing guy. Enter Judah Schiller, the founder of two San Francisco brand marketing companies.\u00a0<\/span>Aiko<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Saatchi\u00a0&<\/a>\u00a0Saatchi<\/a>)<\/span>. A tip of the hit to him for knowing how to spin the half baked Bay Bridge bike path to get publicity for both a water bike lane and for his ad agency!!<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

Judah Schiller, a former attorney and single father of three, rode to the\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
water’s edge in Oakland, CA, outfitted his bike with a propeller and\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
pontoons (a ten-minute job) and 45 minutes later he was\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
at the Ferry Building in San Francisco!<\/span><\/div>\n
