Then, outside of a hard fought proclamation,\u00a0\u00a0he had nothing to do with our annual\u00a0Mayors&#8217; Rides. He ignored bike activists like myself and architect, <a href=\"http:\/\/hiwheel.posterous.com\/ron-bishop-mr-bike-oakland-to-lead-oakland-to\">Ron Bishop<\/a>, now <a href=\"http:\/\/hiwheel.posterous.com\/oakland-bike-mayor-ron-bishop-the-real-face-o\">deceased<\/a>, who was only honored as Mr. Bike Oakland, once Mr Brown had let go of the political stepping stone Oakland was for him.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-HgySEdMpZCc\/UGbPdKFpdmI\/AAAAAAAAAdc\/FKH9JpAnx78\/s1600\/images.jpeg\" imageanchor=\"1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/-HgySEdMpZCc\/UGbPdKFpdmI\/AAAAAAAAAdc\/FKH9JpAnx78\/s1600\/images.jpeg?w=1100\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Now as the state&#8217;s governor, Brown is continuing his indifference to the needs of cyclists. If you can believe this, he vetoed the three foot safe passing law that is already \u00a0in place in almost half of the nation&#8217;s states.
