I had asked him if he could pound out a low spot in my rim that had resulted from my trying to push my old rubber as far as I could without replacing it. Well more than the low spot, he also found ten or more little cracks on the inside of the rim \u00a0that had developed from my not having enough tire to protect it.<\/div>\n<p\/>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Well after he\u00a0welded the cracks, he dug out\u00a0 the metal piece he had needed \u00a0to roll my rim back into perfect circle after having welded a gusset to the inside of it a year and a half ago. This time he \u00a0used it \u00a0as a guide for the gas torch and the\u00a0special hammers he used to pull out\u00a0the low spot.<\/div>\n<div>,<\/div>\n<div>If that was not enough he also reopened the gap last winter&#8217;s pothole crash had minimized.
