Until I can get a cotter pin re-machined (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/profile.php?id=100007278856013\" data-hovercard=\"\/ajax\/hovercard\/user.php?id=100007278856013\">Jim Spillane<\/a> says he can do it), I had Pawel weld the pedal arm to the wheel axle. Bad call from a purist point of view, but keeping my bike rolling on these harsh Irish roads and often inclement weather has compromised my machine in other ways already. So I because I wanna ride, this is what I had to do.
