On April 15, we announced that the starting time for our San Jose to Palo Alto ride had been moved up to 9 AM. We blew it. Caltrain’s recently revised weekend schedule won’t get anyone there on time. As such, we have moved our start back to 10AM.<\/span><\/div>\n

Bicycle leader and former Palo Alto Mayor, Yoriko Kishimoto\u200b, will be leading us, with \u00a0SJSU Professor, and former stunt man, Randal Mitchell\u200b! Keep an eye out for the Ordinary Luge trick that he has promised for us on his 19th Century bike!<\/span><\/div>\n

If that\u2019s not enough, San Jose Transportation Director, \u00a0Hans Larsen, is trying to clear his\u00a0schedule for that day and Yoriko\u2019s brilliant husband, Lee Collins\u200b, an Asian language wizard who played a huge part in establishing Apple computer\u2019s dominance in the Pacific Rim and recently met with the Dalai Lama in Japan, will be there too! 2006 NBG coast-to-coast scout, Scott Campbell\u200b will be there as will Barry Burr\u200b inventor of the revolutionary Barry Beams\u200b bike lighting system \u00a0on his dad’s 1946 Schwinn Phantom. \u00a02004 NBG coast-to-coast scout, Don Loomis, another Apple powerhouse, is also trying to make room for this slow ride that Martin Krieg will be setting the pace for on his rare 10-13 mph The Eagle Bicycle\u200b HiWheel bike!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

You also have the option of starting on the newly paved, car-free Gaudulupe River Trail all the way to the Bay with us for 9 miles. Your return to San Jose City Hall will give you an almost 20-mile round trip!<\/span><\/div>\n
