J<\/span>ust did an amazing pre-interview with a man who is amazing well beyond his place in the record books, Pete Penseyres<\/strong>! We plan to have a podcast for you before this year’s RAAM is complete and quite possibly won again by Christoph Strausser, the same man Pete helped to break his Bob Beamon-like record that stood for 27 years.<\/p>\n

In the middle photo below, Pete is standing next to Bob Founrey behind a trophy. Next to Bob, holding the other trophy is Tim Brummer, The bike they are crowded around is Tim’s Lightning Cycle Dynamics<\/strong><\/a> F-40 that is still the fastest bike to have ever won RAAM. In 1989, it did so in five days, one hour \u2014 an average speed of 25 mph!<\/p>\n
