A<\/span><\/strong> ride we’ve been doing since 2003, our 2015 trek will be\u00a0led by\u00a0Sacramento Bike Coordinator, <\/span>Ed Cox.<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>We’ll leave from a send-off at\u00a0<\/span>Larkspur Landing Folsom<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0(see below for \u00a0the discounted room nights they are making available to riders)<\/strong> catered by\u00a0<\/span>Whole Foods Folsom<\/strong><\/a> at 9AM. Our \u00a0ride on\u00a0<\/span>America’s top \u00a0greenway system<\/em>,\u00a0<\/span>the <\/span>American River Parkway<\/strong> (<\/span>audio\/visual <\/a><\/strong>of the\u00a0ARP) will next travel for 13 miles before we stop at <\/span>Whole Foods Sacramento<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0for a recharge with ample amounts of energy food and drink in their handsome outdoor seating area. They will make sure we are fed even when our ride just about reaches it end in\u00a0Old Town Sacramento<\/a>,<\/strong>\u00a0ten miles away. Toward that end, we will enjoy the picnic lunch they will send us\u00a0(the first 30 of us who commit to this amazing ride) off with at peaceful\u00a0Discovery Park<\/strong>\u00a0where the American River meets the Sacramento River.<\/span><\/p>\n
