INTERMEDIATE RIDE: From Mayfield Ave. on which you will travel south. Cross Campus Dr., go a few blocks to Frenchman's Rd., turn right, and ride until you reach Junipero Serra Blvd. Make a left turn on Junipero Serra Blvd., and ride to Page Mill Rd. Look for the bike path off to the right as you near the intersection, and turn right following it onto Old Page Mill Rd. (this will eventually merge with Page Mill again.)

You need to get over into the left-most lane to continue on Page Mill under I-280, so watch for traffic, and get over as soon as it is safe for you to do so. Continue on Page Mill, and turn right onto Arastadero Rd. until you reach Alpine Rd. Turn left and ride to Portola Rd., then turn right and stay on Portola for 6-7 miles until it becomes Sand Hill Rd., which will intersect with Alpine Rd. again. Turn right and then make a quick left onto Junipero Serra to get back to Stanford.
