To announce our NBG Builder program, we are now asking for a rider(s) to help us disseminate it with a May-June 2022 ride from San Francisco to Washington, DC on our route at BikeRoute.com. If you are selected, you will get a brand new, free recumbent bicycle to do so. 

On a daily basis, your five to 15 minute phone calls with us will take the form of live podcasts of your day’s events. These will also enter the blog, complete with pictures you forward, that we will maintain for you. Here, you can pass along BikeRoute.com/(your name) to friends, family and potential employers etc. In exchange for our celebrating your ride, we ask that your journey from San Francisco to Washington DC on our route be self supported.

Your ride will start at San Francisco City Hall where we will get you press and possible political attention for your sendoff. Since your ride will pass through a number of other City Halls, we ask that you take a picture of yourself and your group (4 or less, if you have one) at each one. In our NBG Biking Cities, we can help with lodging. Otherwise you will be required to take care of your own sleeping accommodations. Whether  you choose to camp or make yours a hotel tour is your decision.

Use the form there to get us a picture of yourself (or your group), document your cycling experience and tell us why we should pick you (or your group). Help us see why you should be the first person (or people), of the hundreds, and then thousands that will follow every year, to ride the National Bicycle Greenway!
