Lawrence Risley, pictured at right, will sweep the course. Lawrence is one of the key organizers of Bike Party Sacramento. The ride ends at Hot Italian Pizza.

We transcribed the interview we did with Rob Gentry, one of the forces who, through his shop Recumbent Bike Riders in State College, PA, helped to shape the modern day Recumbent bicycle industry.
In such a way all the search engines will be able to find him and what we talked about. They won’t, however, hear how genuine and humble this brilliant man is.
Our 8th Ron Bishop Oakland to Berkeley ride takes place on Sunday July 24 the day after Pedal Fest takes over the Oakland waterfront at Jack London Square. We’ll enjoy lunch this year in Emeryville at Hot Italian Pizza
Finally now have the recumbent history presentation I did at Recumbent Cycle Con in Cincinnati last Fall on line at our site. Toward that end, it has-been much embellished, For example I found this 1985 photo of what 1986 coast to coast recumbent ride was going to look like like until Via Recumbent came forward with their machine the most sophisticated bicycle, on the planet for my ride. The VW was going to sag my ride. I most likely would have needed it….
Hauled the Eagle over to Michael Gabriel’s house last week. I pulled it in a trailer behind the Advanta.
Michael is going to braze the cracks that have developed to the point of failure in the front rim. And indeed he does good work. The trike he welded up below here is a true, bullet-proof strong hauler.
Bike Party Davis quadrupled in size on its second run even with cool weather and the constant threat of rain. We explore Davis again on Friday May 27
However in June,Bike Party Davis is set for Friday, June 24. On the following day, Saturday June 25, the NBG Tour of Davis begins at 8A\M to beat the heat of a Davis summer day. We end at Hot Italian Pizza where the food is mostly organic!!
In June, if you want to see what Davis looks like at night and then review it in the light of the next day, the 3-Star, Hallmark Inn at UC Davis has set aside a block of rooms at a discounted rate. See first hand why Davis is the Bike Capital of America!
I
rode from Davis to Winters, CA today in 20 minutes on the Lightning Cycle Dynamics P-38!! From the edge of Davis, where I started keeping track, I get a distance of ten miles. While I was hammering and doing some experimental stuff with my breath, that just does not seem at all possible. 30 mph. I don’t think so. I can believe 24 or 25 mph, but 30. At any rate, this is one very fast bike!!
